Costanza Mazzotti is born in Milan, the 4th july of 1984. She is a fashion and graphic designer as well as an illustrator who is creatively active 360 days a year. After graduating from the “Liceo Classico A. Manzoni” in Milan, in 2003, she decided to pursue her passion for drawings and images. First she worked as an assistant to photographer Giandomenico Frassi for the Studio A/F in Milan producing still-lifes and interior and fashion shoots. The same year she decided to move to London, where, after taking some short courses, she attended a training course at the Central Saint Martin College of Art & Design. In 2005 she returned to her native city to enroll in the art school “Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera”. At the same time she worked as first seller at the bookshop of the Antonio Mazzotta Foundation in Milan. She also began collaborating with the renowned shoe boutique “Le Solferine” working as a designer’s assistant for the shoe line Silvia Bertolaja Milano. A year later she started her free-lance collaboration as seller in charge for different designers such as Haider Hackerman, Georgina Goodman, Clare Tough and Kinder Aggugini. In 2007 she was a foreign exchange student at Universitè Saint Denis Paris8 in Paris, where she lived for six months and where she continues to go to work for fashion showrooms and fairs. In July 2009, she graduated from the painting foundations course at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. In January 2010 she began attending a Master in Fashion Design at the Domus Academy in Milan, where she further fostered her passion for fashion creation. In March 2011 she once again moved to London as an intern with the Alexandr McQueen fashion studio, where she supported the Footwear Product Manager and the Designer.
Costanza Mazzotti has also: •worked as an illustrator and fashion editor for magazines and editorials (Edizioni Hachette,”PNstream” “Benetti Magazine”, Pitti mmagine, Adv Campaign Moda Prima). •taken part in the collective exhibition called “Loop” in Milan at Assab One as an illustrator and painter. —
